Whenyoushouldseeme_1

You should see me when you experience the following symptoms:

1. Irregular or missed periods:

Once a pregnancy is ruled out, a persistent irregularity or absence of cycles may signal hormonal imbalances or conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Bleeding that lasts longer than seven days or requires frequent pad or tampon changes may be linked to fibroids, endometriosis, or hormonal imbalances.

Ongoing or severe pain, especially during menstruation or intercourse, could indicate endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, or fibroids.

Any vaginal bleeding after menopause is abnormal and may signal endometrial cancer or other serious conditions.

Hot flushes, night sweats, sleep disturbances, and vaginal dryness that significantly impact daily life may require medical advice for management.

Changes in color, odor, or consistency could indicate infections or cervical abnormalities that need attention.

Persistent pain can be linked to conditions such as endometriosis, vaginal atrophy (common in menopause), or pelvic organ problems.

Symptoms like abnormal vaginal bleeding (e.g., between periods or after intercourse) or persistent pelvic pain may be signs of cervical abnormalities and require prompt evaluation. Pressure, bloating, or a feeling of fullness in the lower abdomen, along with heavy periods or pelvic pain, may point to the presence of uterine fibroids.

You should see me with fertility issues such as:

1. Difficulty Conceiving:

– Women under 35 who have been trying to conceive for 12 months without success.
– Women aged 35 or older who have been trying for 6 months, as fertility declines with age.

– Irregular menstrual cycles or the absence of periods may indicate ovulation problems, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or hormonal imbalances.

– Conditions like endometriosis, PCOS, thyroid disorders, or uterine abnormalities can impact fertility and may require specialized care.

– Experiencing two or more miscarriages may indicate underlying issues, such as chromosomal abnormalities or uterine problems, that need evaluation.

– Low sperm count, poor sperm motility, or other male factor infertility issues should prompt a consultation with a fertility specialist.

– Past pelvic infections, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), or surgeries involving the reproductive organs can affect fertility.

– Women over 40 who wish to conceive should seek advice promptly, as egg quality and quantity decline significantly with age.

– Couples with a family history of genetic disorders may benefit from preconception counseling and genetic testing.

– Women or men undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy should consider fertility preservation options, such as egg or sperm freezing, before treatment.

– When no clear cause of infertility is identified, a fertility specialist can provide advanced diagnostic tests and treatment options.
